Wk2 B: Business Research

The social media presence of four different companies—from a tiny neighborhood bakery to a global corporate behemoth—is examined in this blog post. Understanding how companies of all sizes and scopes use social media for communication and marketing is the aim.

1. Sweet Surrender Bakery

Handcrafted cakes, pastries, and desserts are the specialty of the small, neighborhood bakery Sweet Surrender Bakery in Oceanside, California.

Sweet Surrender Bakery uses social media to promote their delicious products in an efficient manner. Their Instagram account, which includes excellent images and videos of their baked goodies, is aesthetically pleasing. They regularly publish content every day, interacting with clients through stories and comments. Facebook is used for community participation, announcements, and consumer interactions. Although it isn't updated as often, Pinterest gives them a place to display their eye-catching treats.

2. Starbucks

Starbucks is a multinational coffee company and a global brand with thousands of locations worldwide.

Social Media:
Starbucks is well-represented on a number of social media networks. They make good use of every medium, publishing interesting material catered to the target demographic. Instagram emphasizes eye-catching visuals, but Twitter is used for customer support and rapid updates. Facebook acts as a central location for announcements and community interaction. YouTube offers video material, such as behind-the-scenes looks and product demos. LinkedIn is utilized for industry updates and professional networking.

3.) Amazon


Description: Amazon is a global e-commerce giant, offering a vast selection of products and services.

Social Media:
Amazon uses social media to interact with customers, build its brand, and offer customer support. A carefully chosen assortment of goods and lifestyle photos may be found on their Instagram page. Twitter is utilized to respond to popular topics and provide prompt customer service. Facebook provides a forum for product announcements and community interaction. LinkedIn is utilized for industry updates and professional networking.

4. REI

REI successfully uses social media to engage with its intended outdoor enthusiast demographic. Their Instagram page is absolutely spectacular, full of motivating photos and amazing outdoor excursions.

5. Tesla

Tesla makes good use of social media to interact with a fervent following, promote its cutting-edge technologies, and increase brand recognition. With excellent photos and videos of their cars and technologies, their Instagram account is absolutely spectacular. Twitter is utilized for direct communication with customers and the media, as well as for brief announcements and updates. Facebook is a place for sharing consumer tales and interacting with the community. YouTube offers videos that highlight company events, technological demos, and car features. LinkedIn is utilized for industry updates and professional networking.
