Week 4 Part A : Defining Target Market

I compared the websites of two natural food stores this week: Sprouts, a larger chain, and Cream of the Crop, an Oceanside single-location business. Their goods and website design make it clear that their target markets are different. Cream of the Crop: Target Market: In my opinion, Cream of the Crop's target market consists of families and individuals in the Oceanside area who are health-conscious, appreciate community, and value individualized care. They probably value high-quality ingredients and could be prepared to spend more for them. The focus on organic and local products indicates a concern for sustainability and patronizing small businesses. In terms of demographics, this may include older citizens who appreciate natural products or young adults who are interested in leading healthy lives. Psychologically, they probably care about their health and may have certain dietary requirements or preferences. Website Design: Compared to Sprouts, the website feels less polished a...

Week 3 Part A: Aesthetics, Design, and Branding

First, visitors have a hard time finding precise information about the products due to the unclear and inconsistent navigation. Second, the general design is antiquated and amateurish, which could harm the company's reputation. The images seem low-resolution, and the color scheme is startling. Third, the website is not mobile responsive, which means that it does not adjust smoothly to various screen sizes, making it difficult for mobile users to utilize. Potential clients may be turned off by these problems since they create the appearance that the business is not committed to its internet presence. Pennyjuice might do better by making the site mobile-friendly, upgrading the visuals with better photos and a more contemporary color scheme, and streamlining the navigation. These modifications would enhance the company's reputation and make the web...
